Who would like a Fiery Kiss for Valentines day?!!  We have some fabulous Mixed Breed Dyed Tops and some Merino Dyed Tops in the most vibrant colours. They look very bright in the bag but do tone down once spun and knitted if plying back on itself. They are lovely to spin and very good for a beginner as I was when I first got my hands on this fibre.

We have had a busy day photographing products, which we hope you will enjoy. One of my favourites is our own drawstring bag which I have found several uses for around the home as well as using them for fleece storage. They can be found in the Storage Solutions dept. I also think our rare and exotic Drop Spindles are going to be popular and have placed another order already!

I found also an interesting competition in The Ark magazine this week produced by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. Designers, artists and creators are encouraged to get busy knitting, sculpting and crafting entries for an exciting competition to celebrate the creative and imaginative uses of Welsh Wool. For the full detail please click here. If you would like some Welsh Wool, we are pleased to offer some Welsh Mountain Top, it dyes and spins wonderfully but it's a bit hairy! I am currently spinning with it and think that some of the hair will disappear when it is washed. When I have something meaningful to show you i.e. a completed hank I will let you see a piccy!
